First of the Year

This was a quick study that I tried to complete in one day working alla prima. It actually took 7 hours spread over two sessions.

A Spitfire PRXIX, oil on board, 12" x6". Painting this small was quite a challenge, but I enjoyed working quickly and relatively loosely.
